Vanguards of the Cosmos was Giorgiko’s debut exhibition in Asia. This duo exhibition with renowned Korean artist Moonassi was held at the Everyday Mooonday gallery in Seoul, Korea and quickly sold to collectors eager to acquire the artist duo’s paintings.

In this new body of work, Giorgiko explores the emotions connected with the human experience of stepping into the unknown. Some characters are portrayed as venturing into new environments donning various degrees of protection in the form of space suits. Meanwhile, others have only indications of helmets for protection. Whether stepping into new places with faith or fear and trepidation, the images are metaphors for different levels of protectiveness and defensiveness one may place when encountering new situations.
