Damin Lujan, a.k.a. Zaoone, has been sharing the joy and hope he carries on the streets of Southern California.  Whether through his vibrant large-scale murals or compassionate conversations with passers-by, Damin is looking to love the people he and his artwork encounter.  Lujan’s love for people can be seen through the variety of spaces throughout Southern California that bear his artwork.  From public installations to parking structures, from small businesses to large corporations, and from homeless shelters to private residences, Lujan’s colorful mural works brighten each space with a lively spirit.

Lujan was born in Los Angeles and was shaped early on by the graffiti and skateboarding culture throughout Santa Monica and Venice, in which he was immersed. Lujan studied at Orange Coast College and was a painting assistant to several artists including Shepard Fairey. Since 2019, Lujan has been designing and installing his own murals for municipalities, businesses, and home.
